Milham Park dam removed along Portage Creek
$348,500 has been awarded to remove the steel sheeting dam on Portage Creek at Milham Park in Kalamazoo. The dam removal will help restore the stream to re-establish a stable channel, provide fish habitat and allow access for fishing. The city of Kalamazoo will receive this funding and oversee the project.
