Richland, MI is a beautiful area with plenty of fun family activities to enjoy in and around our community. With the number of events hosted each month, there’s sure to be something to entertain everyone in the family. From festivals to hot air balloon rides, arts and crafts to wagon rides, there’s no reason to stay in this weekend.
Art Hop continues on August 2nd around Kalamazoo. Art Hop is a free-of-charge, fun-filled evening of art exhibits and events in and around Downtown Kalamazoo. It takes place the first Friday of every month.
Enjoy a good time at the Sunflower Festival at Gull Meadow Farms on August 9th – 11th AND August 16th – 18th, from 10 am to 6 pm. Enjoy the beautiful sunflower fields with more than a dozen different colors of sunflowers. “Admission will be $15/person and will include a wagon ride out to the sunflower patch, both family activity areas, access to the sunflower fields, AND 1 sunflower to cut and take home with you.”
The Kalamazoo Balloon Fest is coming August 23rd - 25th. This is event is free to the general public. There’s also an opportunity to get a discounted admission wristband for all the fun family activities at the farm.
